At a glance
AI logo refinement, in one answer.
AI tools produce logos as low resolution images with blurry edges, uneven shapes and text that is often misspelled or hard to read. AI logo refinement turns that image into a professional logo: a designer redraws it by hand as a clean vector (SVG, PDF and EPS), fixes the geometry, spacing and typography, removes the generic AI look and builds the versions you need. The result scales to any size, prints sharp and carries real human design work.

Why AI logos need work
Six problems almost every AI logo has.
AI is great for exploring ideas quickly. But the file it gives you is a picture of a logo, not a logo you can actually use across a business.
- 01
Not a vector
A PNG or JPG that blurs when enlarged and cannot be used for print, signage, embroidery or vinyl.
- 02
Broken text
Misspelled letters, uneven spacing and fonts that do not exist, so the name looks off.
- 03
Wobbly geometry
Lines that are not straight, curves that are not smooth and shapes that are almost, but not quite, symmetrical.
- 04
Too much detail
Gradients, shadows and tiny details that disappear at app icon and favicon sizes.
- 05
Generic look
The same style thousands of other AI logos share, which makes it hard to stand out or protect.
- 06
Unclear ownership
Pure AI output has limited copyright protection, so human design work matters for owning your mark.
What you get
From AI image to professional logo system.
Not an auto-trace. Every curve is redrawn by hand, so the logo is clean, light and correct at every size.
- 01
Hand redrawn vector
The logo rebuilt from scratch with clean anchor points, in SVG, PDF and EPS.
- 02
Geometry and balance
Straight lines, true curves, optical balance and consistent stroke weights.
- 03
Real typography
A licensed or custom typeface with proper kerning, so the name reads perfectly.
- 04
Humanized and distinctive
Small, deliberate design decisions that remove the generic AI look and make the mark yours.
- 05
Compact mark and icon
A simplified symbol, app icon and favicon that work at the smallest sizes.
- 06
All versions and rules
Colour, one colour, black, white and reversed versions with simple usage rules.
How it works
Four steps, about one week.
STEP 01
Review
Send your AI logo. On a short call we agree what to keep, what to fix and where the logo will be used.
STEP 02
Redraw
The logo is rebuilt as a vector by hand, with corrected geometry, spacing and typography.
STEP 03
Refine
Details are simplified and humanized, then tested from favicon to billboard size. You review and comment.
STEP 04
Handover
Every version and file format, the Figma source and usage rules, with a walkthrough.

Auto-trace or redraw?
Why a hand redrawn vector beats auto-trace.
Online converters and image trace tools turn a PNG into a vector automatically, but they copy every flaw: lumpy curves, hundreds of extra anchor points, broken letters and colour noise. The file is technically a vector but looks worse when enlarged and is hard to edit. A designer redraws the logo with the minimum number of clean points, real fonts and correct proportions, which is why it stays sharp and consistent everywhere. Need a brand new mark instead? See the logo design service.
Ownership
Make the logo properly yours.
In January 2025 the US Copyright Office confirmed that prompts alone do not make someone the author of an AI output, while human changes that are sufficiently creative can be protected. Refining a logo by hand adds that human authorship and makes the mark more distinctive, which also helps when you apply for a trademark. I am not a lawyer, so for legal advice on registration speak to a trademark attorney before you launch.

Where I work
AI logo refinement for clients around the world.
Every project runs remotely with a fixed price, a short review call and a full handover of files.
Yes. I redraw AI logos from ChatGPT, Midjourney, Gemini, DALL-E and logo generators by hand as clean vectors in SVG, PDF and EPS, so they scale to any size and print sharp.
Automatic tracing copies every flaw in the AI image: lumpy curves, extra anchor points, broken letters and colour noise. A hand redrawn vector uses clean points, real fonts and corrected proportions, so it looks professional at every size and is easy to edit.
It means a designer makes deliberate decisions the AI did not: fixing geometry and spacing, choosing real typography, simplifying details for small sizes and adding distinctive touches, so the logo looks crafted and unique rather than generic.
In January 2025 the US Copyright Office said prompts alone do not create authorship, while sufficiently creative human changes can be protected. Trademark rights depend on use and distinctiveness. Human refinement helps on both counts, but speak to a trademark attorney for legal advice.
Refinement and vectorization is included in the $799 Launch plan with a brand starter kit and one landing page. A full brand identity around the refined logo is part of the $1,999 per month Partner plan.
About one week from the review call to final files, including one round of feedback.
Sometimes the concept is too generic or too close to an existing mark. In that case I will tell you on the free review and suggest a new custom logo instead, using the parts of the AI idea that work.
