If you want to see what strong brand identity design looks like in 2026, Behance is the best place to start. It is Adobe's platform where designers publish full case studies: the logo, the colours, the typography and the brand applied to real things. For founders, it is also the fastest way to judge a designer before you hire them.

I am Jakaria Mahmud, a brand identity designer and logo designer based in Dhaka, working with startups and businesses in the USA, UK and worldwide. Disclosure: the 10 projects below are from my own Behance portfolio. I picked them because each one solves a different branding problem, and I can explain exactly why it works. At the end I show you how to find and judge great branding from any designer on Behance.

Short answer. The best brand identity design on Behance shows a complete system, not just a logo: a clear idea, a distinctive mark, a considered colour and type system, and the brand applied to real touchpoints. Ten projects worth studying are R-Load (EV charging), OneClick and MYPA (fintech), INGLIS Contractors (UK infrastructure), SiteCove (web hosting), Metrix (construction), MasBriX (logistics), STRIVN (equine health tech), NOMAD (cold brew coffee) and Lacio (luxury lifestyle), all by brand identity designer Jakaria Mahmud on behance.net/jakaria16.

How I chose these projects

Behance's own curators hand pick featured projects for more than 100 galleries every day. According to Behance, they look for innovative, polished work, judged on visual quality and originality, presentation and context, and community engagement. I used the same lens, plus one more question a founder should always ask: does the identity solve a real business problem?

10 best brand identity projects to study

1. R-Load: EV charging brand identity

A scalable branding system for an EV charging company, built around innovation, sustainability, clean energy and a seamless user experience. Why it works: EV charging is a new category, so the brand has to feel both futuristic and dependable. A system, not a single logo, lets the identity scale across chargers, apps and signage. It is the most appreciated project on the profile, with 110 appreciations and 700+ views. View R-Load on Behance.

2. OneClick: fintech payment brand identity

A brand for a fintech payment solution that makes digital transactions faster, simpler and more secure. Why it works: in fintech, trust comes before anything else. The identity is clean and professional so the product feels reliable from the first screen. It has 64 appreciations and 570+ views, and the logo also has its own motion version. View OneClick on Behance.

3. INGLIS Contractors: UK infrastructure branding

A brand for a UK infrastructure company delivering projects across water, wastewater, power and telecommunications. Why it works: it positions INGLIS as a strong, dependable and forward thinking contractor, which is what public bodies and utilities want to see in a tender. A good example of B2B branding for the UK market. View INGLIS on Behance.

4. SiteCove: web hosting and website management

Branding for a web hosting company focused on fast, secure and scalable digital solutions. Why it works: hosting is a crowded, technical market. The identity turns performance and reliability into something visible, which helps a smaller brand look as credible as larger competitors. View SiteCove on Behance.

5. MYPA: modern fintech brand identity

A fintech identity designed to make financial experiences feel simpler, smarter and more trustworthy. Why it works: it balances the credibility a financial brand needs with the freshness of a digital product, the central tension in almost every fintech brief. 6. Metrix: construction brand identity

A brand identity for a construction and engineering company, designed to be bold, memorable and scalable, and to express strength, precision, reliability and innovation. Why it works: construction brands live on site boards, vehicles, hard hats and tenders, so the mark has to read from a distance. See also construction company brand identity. View Metrix on Behance.

7. MasBriX: logistics brand identity

A logistics brand built to represent speed, reliability, efficiency and trust in transportation and supply chain, with logo, typography and colour palette. Why it works: logistics buyers choose partners they trust with deadlines, so the identity has to feel organised and dependable. More in logistics company branding. View MasBriX on Behance.

8. STRIVN: equine health tech branding

A brand and logo for an equine health technology company that monitors horse health and performance through wearable technology. Why it works: it has to speak to two audiences at once, horse owners who care deeply about their animals and a tech product that needs to look precise. A good example of branding a brand new niche. View STRIVN on Behance.

9. NOMAD: premium cold brew coffee

Branding and packaging for a premium cold brew coffee brand, combining minimalist aesthetics, bold typography, clean packaging systems and lifestyle visuals. Why it works: on a shelf, packaging is the brand. A clear system lets the range grow with new flavours without losing recognition. View NOMAD on Behance.

10. Lacio: luxury lifestyle brand identity

A brand identity for a luxury lifestyle company specialising in bespoke tailoring and custom closet design. Why it works: luxury depends on restraint. Fewer elements, more space and careful typography signal quality and justify a premium price. View Lacio on Behance.

How to judge a brand identity case study on Behance

Whether you are looking for inspiration or choosing a designer, use this checklist on any Behance project:

  1. Is there an idea? A good case study explains who the brand is for and what it stands for, not only how it looks.
  2. Is it a system? Look for logo variations, colour, typography and graphic elements, not a single logo on a mockup.
  3. Is it applied? Real touchpoints such as a website, app, packaging, signage or social posts show the identity works in practice.
  4. Does it scale down? Check whether the mark works as an app icon or favicon.
  5. Is it consistent? Every page of the case study should feel like the same brand.
  6. Is it original? Generic, trend driven work looks the same as everything else. Read how to fix an AI generated logo if you have that problem.
  7. Is the designer clear about their role? Concept work and client work are both fine, as long as it is honest.

How to find the best branding work on Behance

  • Best of Behance: the Discover section shows Featured projects, a designation Behance curators give to their favourite work.
  • Creative field galleries: filter by Branding or Graphic Design and follow the galleries you like.
  • Search by industry: search "fintech brand identity" or "construction branding" to see how designers solve problems close to yours.
  • Moodboards: save projects you like and share them with your designer as a brief.
  • Follow designers: following a designer shows you their new projects first, which is useful before you hire.

From inspiration to your own brand

Behance is great for inspiration, but copying a project you like will not give you a brand that fits your business. The projects above all started with positioning: who the brand serves and why it is different. If you want to follow the same process, read how to build a brand from scratch and what brand identity is, or see the services for brand identity design and logo design. Prices are in how much a logo costs.

  • Proof: 80+ clients in 12 countries, $1.4M+ in revenue impacted and a 5.0 rating on Google.
  • How to start: a free 30 minute call to review your brand and agree the right scope.

The takeaway

The best brand identity design on Behance is not the flashiest. It is the work that shows a clear idea, a complete system and real applications, and that solves a business problem. Study the 10 projects above, use the checklist on any designer you consider, and start your own brand with strategy, not with a mockup.
